to get the list of installed features including fitted run Web Parts in SharePoint or 12 Root hive the following command line:
enumallwebs stsadm-o-includewebparts> myFeatures.xml
This will create An XML file that you can see from the comfort of your browser.
To locate where a feature is installed in a content database run the following query from the Management Studio of MS SQL Server
select SetupPath, * from WHERE setpath AllDcos like 'features%'
To locate a Web element by its Id can run the following T-SQL statement in MS Management Studio for SQL Server: select
dirname, leafname AllDocs from where id in (select from webparts WHERE tp_pageurlid tp_webparttypeid = 'Guid number here')
This will give the location referred to in the portal which is using the Web.
For a Declarative Web Part can run the following line of T-SQL:
AllDocs select * from WHERE leafname like '% nombreElementoWeb.dwp'
To check the status of the Web Parts on a page type the full URL and add the query parameter? Contents = 1 "
This image in SharePoint 2010, which was the image I had on hand the information that displays 2007 is the same.
This will show a list of Web items that say say Open = You can not delete them anyway because you are not using and error to score even more. Excellent
Windows application for SharePoint 2007 to take an inventory of installed Web Parts and Web Application eliminate that failed or no longer have installed but it is the reference feature in the codeplex site:
This will help to eliminate features that are not properly installed or are orphans, to prepare a migration or to clean the SharePoint installation.
