SharePoint 2010 is a comprehensive platform that includes about 25 services compared with 8 services, 2007. This makes installation and proper configuration of SharePoint 2010 is a laborious task, caring and sometimes a little complicated. So i decided to write a practical guide to where to find most problems encountered in the installation and configuration of SharePoint.

| Problem | SharePoint requires 5 times more memory free memory disk RAM available in the Front End of SharePoint servers. |
| Solution | The calculation should be: If it is planned that the Front End has 8GB (Minimum RAM recommended) should have 40 GB available and estimated free Windows and SQL installed on Drive C should have a record of at least 80 GB of capacity. If it were 16 GB of RAM because we want to install Office Web Apps should also be calculated as follows: 16 x 5 = 80 GB + 40 GB (OS, SQL & SP) should have a 120 GB disk. Only for the system disk to the hard part for SharePoint 2010 databases we should talk at least 160 GB to 500 GB depending on the growth estimate. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262485.aspx # section2 & http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431682.aspx # bkmk_server_dist |

| Solution "The Reason That We Are seeing this message is that the WMI calls are made under the credentials of Network Service account and it doesn’t have permissions to the folder in which Microsoft.ResourceManagement.Service.exe is located and thus the resource not found error is logged. The error should go away if the Network Service account is given permissions to the folder (as indicated in the error)where the resource is located.
