did not know what to call this post, I called because I have been doing the tutorial as the design progressed. To see what you think: Of course
began opening a document with the desired size. In my case to be an action I will use as wallpaper 1020x800. Once opened, place the stock that will make our background.
Then paste our render, adjust it if necessary, and place it in the desired position.
Now it looks as if we were working with just one stock. But first we have to adjust a little better image to achieve an integration effect of rendering the image. Create a new layer, apply image and we put a lighting effect.
I put this layer on Soft Light at 75% opacity.
Now a new layer and with the paint, paint the entire layer with black. With a soft brush erase everything except the edges, that are slightly obscured.
In another new layer, turn to Apply Image. This time we go to the Flash filter, put the ones you like best.
This layer leave it in Normal, but 38%.
For the third time in a New Layer return to Apply Image. This time place a filter Fractalius. I put that I have saved a few values \u200b\u200bthat I got.
This layer is Rinse in 50%.
It's time to tweak a bit the colors of the image. We start with a Gradient Map.
This map is Soft Light at 75%.
Now a more Gradient Map.
Color Put this layer to 15%.
Good. It will not look bad. Now put a blue photo filter to keep the tone very early.
But lest I'll saturate the Blue Photo Filter 60%, leaving it in Normal.
To give an effect of "underwater" will use the Distort filters Crystal. I've put a distortion of 8 and a smoothing of 10, the rest I left as was.
Normal Leaving the layer to 50% and delete everything that seems to us that is wrong.
now focus a little picture. I have used Fractalius for it.
To avoid a lot of image pixels, I've put in Soft Light 60%.
As finishing touches, put a Gradient Map Black & White Normal 20%. And an optional font and a frame. That's it! We have our new wallpaper.
Time spent on making the wallpaper over the tutorial: One hour. I hope you liked it.
